Q: What is the weather like?

A: South Padre Island has a tropical climate and warm year round temperatures. In the summer, we are often warm but, not as hot as interior parts of Texas. The summer high is usually around 95 degrees. In the spring and fall months we are very comfortable with temperatures in the 80's for a high. The winters can be windy and most guests like to have a sweater or a light jacket after sunset.


Q: How do I get there?

A: South Padre Island is serviced by two airports. You can fly in through Harlingen or Brownsville's Airport.


Q:  How far is the island from the airport?

A: South Padre Island is about 45 minutes from the Harlingen Airport and about a half an hour from the Brownsville Airport. There are airport shuttles or rental cars available from both.


Q: What supplies do I need to bring to the rental property?

A: AACE Rental Properties come equipped with towels, bed linens and the kitchen has cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. You will need to bring your groceries and anything specific for your household needs. Like oversized beach towels or bath products.
